We’re so fortunate to have so much outside space here at Sheffield Buddhist Centre. The gardens are changing day by day right now – every day it seems like there’s another beautiful flower to catch my eye! Folks are making the most of the outside space to have the occasional socially-distanced meet-up, and there are even two gazebos in the grounds so that a little bit of rain needn’t spoil our plans!
We rely on a team of volunteers to keep the gardens looking their best. Monday was always the main day for them to meet and they are now starting to come back again. If you’d like to join them for a bit of distanced weeding, pruning or general tidying, drop the Centre an email. It’s worth getting in touch even if Mondays don’t work for you, as there is often someone working around the gardens most mornings. Be aware that as the Centre is home for the men’s community, there are currently no refreshments or toilets available.
